The lotus is the epitome of cleanliness which is why we embarked on a journey to create a wool collection with the qualities of a lotus leaf.
Nature taught us how.The special structure of a lotus leaf means its surface is very hydrophobic, or difficult to get wet. Droplets form instead that don’t stick to the surface. Bonus emulates this effect. The surface is treated to be self-cleaning - just like nature’s lotus leaf. Hydrophobically modified polymers form fine crystals on the surface that make the fabric highly resistant to water, oil and stains. They ensure Bonus’s exceptional cleaning properties. And the natural character of the wool is retained.
